A journey over ancient paths which lead to characteristic Walser hamlets for example: Salecchio, Antillone and Case Francoli, a true step in the past.
One of the main centres of the Walser culture, the Formazza Valley still maintains the traditions in its old villages. During our walk we will find the characteristic houses in stone and wood which were built on the slopes of the Valley with lovely alpine views. We will visit the hamlets of Salecchio Superiore, Antillone and Case Francoli which dates back to 1500.
